Elite Transportation is not liable in the event of mechanical breakdown while on charter and will only be responsible for making up lost time at a mutually agreed date. However, the client assumes total financial liability for any damage to the vehicle caused during the rental duration by them or any party members.
Smoking, Alcohol & Drugs:
State law prohibits anyone under the age of 21 from consuming alcohol in a service-rented vehicle. Therefore, no drugs are allowed in our vehicles. If clients are found carrying or using drugs or drinking underage, the driver must return them to their starting point. No refunds will be issued. Only vehicles with dividers between drivers and passengers allow alcohol, such as a limousine with ten or more passengers. Smoking in commercial vehicles is not permitted by Minnesota State Law and Elite in any Elite vehicle.
Irresponsible Behavior:
The customer will pay for any fines if there is blatant indiscretion on the client's part. The driver strictly enforces this. In addition, any unusual spill, soiling, or damage to the vehicle caused by the passenger or any party member will result in a $200 clean-up fee being charged directly to the credit card on file for the trip.
Limited Liability – Acts of Nature:
Elite is not responsible for client losses due to weather conditions, vehicle equipment failure, road accidents, unusually excessive traffic disruptions, or other Acts of Nature that may affect our ability to fulfill all or any portion of our service commitment. Any client remedy for such service disruptions is strictly limited to the proportion of the services not delivered.
Client Property:
Elite is not responsible for articles left in the vehicle after a service is complete
Seating Capacity:
Vehicles have a specific seating capacity that will not be exceeded.
Wait Time:
Airport arrivals have a 30-minute wait time Grace Period for all Domestic flights and a 45 minute wait time Grace Period for International flights from the official posted arrival time. Any additional wait time will be charged in 15 minutes increments based on the hourly rate for that particular vehicle. For all other reservations, 15 minutes of the free wait time is given. Any additional wait time will be charged in 15-minute increments based on the hourly rate for that particular vehicle. Not responsible for delays or the termination of reservations in winter caused by unsafe road conditions (i.e., roads not salted, accidents, etc.).
Stops:
All stops must be pre-arranged through Customer Service and will incur additional fees. Last-minute stops are still required to be arranged through Customer Service. Charges for stops vary depending on the length and location of the stop. Stops not on the route of the initially scheduled transfer require higher fees.
Additional fees include picking up additional passengers at other locations. Please speak to a Customer Service representative to pre-arrange any stops you may be aware of before picking up for a discounted rate of these charges. You may also want to consider our hourly transfer rates if you have multiple stops, as they may better suit your personal needs.
Cancellation Policy:
If a customer's no-show is without prior cancellation of at least 12 hours in advance, a no-show fee, up to and including the FULL FARE, is required. Exceptions will be made for flight, train, or bus cancellations. Although holidays are excluded, all charges, including the driver's anticipated gratuity, are non-refundable for cancellations regarding reservations that fall on holidays.
Charging Credit Cards:
Your credit card information is required to be eligible to CONFIRM YOUR RESERVATION. Submitting your reservation with your valid credit card information approves Elite Transportation to charge a NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT to your credit card for all vehicle services, equal to the FULL AMOUNT DUE, WITHIN 12 HOURS of the date and time of this reservation.
